Beyond 72 Hours

The ‘Beyond 72 Hours’ is a project in which students take the lead in improving the small space of Seoul into a better space after 72 hours of planning and construction. This project, led by students at Gang¬neung-Wonju University, was named ‘Urban Gradation’, hoping a small space in the city would gradually change the landscape of the city that encompasses it. The site is a triangular commercial parcel located in a residential area, and this once neglected space due to poor management and garbage, is planned as a garden for local residents on their way to and from work. Accordingly, the existing paving was replaced, and various modules were introduced to give an image of gradually expanding paving and greenery to adjacent blocks.
