Songhyeon Cultural Park Parking Lot Development Project

Songhyeon is a space surrounded by old paths and low buildings, nestled in nature that connects Bukaksan Mountain, Bukchon, and Songhyeon. Transitioning from private property to a public asset, the temporary Songhyeon Square embraced the surrounding scenery through its emptiness. While the concept of "emptiness" may sometimes feel overused, it was the most appropriate approach for this site.
